Application Process for Articling Positions in 2010

Students who will complete second-year law school in spring 2009 are strongly encouraged to apply to Gowlings Waterloo Region for a summer position. The Gowlings Waterloo Region will be hiring at least 2 summer students in 2009. The summer position will extend from mid-May, 2009 to mid-August, 2009. Summer students will be assigned to either business law or advocacy.

Students should submit their résumé with both law school and undergraduate transcripts as well as references no later than Friday, May 8th, 2009 . Interviews are typically scheduled in mid/late May, although there is some flexibility as to dates.

Seth Jutzi ( seth.jutzi@gowlings.com), Peter Buza (peter.buza@gowlings.com) and Jennifer Matic (jennifer.matic@gowlings.com) are currently completing their articles. They are available to discuss their experiences with you.
