Gowlings Hamilton provides an outstanding articling experience to students. We go to great lengths to include students in the workings of our office and the broader Gowlings firm. Students are supervised directly by and report to the lawyers involved and are given personal carriage of a wide range of matters. We like to challenge students to stretch their capabilities and grow into a new level of confidence as they confront the realities of practicing law in the real world. In short, we offer all of the benefits of articling for a large, national firm, blended with the collegiality that comes from operating in a smaller community.

Our office has grown from a core of five people in 1995 to more than 100 currently. We are located in a beautiful historic bank building at One Main Street West in Hamilton, which in itself is worthy of a visit. Check us out and see what we have to offer.
